Welcome to the Journal

Sometimes faith is loud. Sometimes it’s a whisper in the dark. This space was created for both.

Here, I share what I’m learning in the Word, in my walk with Jesus, and in the everyday intersections of faith, culture, leadership, and calling. Some entries are deep dives into Scripture. Others are heart spills from the frontlines of ministry, and others are just realizations from the messy middle. I don’t have all the answers—but I do have questions, stories, and a deep desire to follow Jesus well.

My prayer is that these words help you know God more deeply, wrestle through the hard questions honestly, and find hope that anchors you in truth.

Leviticus 13 [Part 1/4]

Leviticus 13 [Part 1/4]

WHEN THE PRIEST SAYS, “COME HERE…” I’ve been sitting with this chapter for four days — not because it’s comforting, but because it’s weird. Leviticus 13 is basically a holiness manual with a deep dive into leprosy. Honestly? It took some serious unpacking (and...

The Price of The Golden Yes

The Price of The Golden Yes

BEFORE THE CALF WAS MOLDED IN THE FIRE, COMPROMISE WAS FORGED IN THEIR HEARTS. Lately, I’ve been a little obsessed with the early books of the Bible. Maybe it’s because someone once told me: When you don’t know how to move forward, look back. Back there—between...

What If the Struggle Is the Sign?

What If the Struggle Is the Sign?

Hey fam— Let’s talk about struggle. Not the cute “my coffee was cold” kind of struggle. I’m talking about the kind of struggle that makes you question everything, makes your soul ache, makes you want to give up, sit down, and hide under the nearest blanket until Jesus...

Nobody Wants to Read Leviticus

Nobody Wants to Read Leviticus

Let’s be honest: nobody wakes up excited to read Leviticus. It’s weird. There’s a lot of blood. Animals are getting sacrificed. People are getting declared “unclean” for what seems like totally normal human experiences. And don’t even get me started on the childbirth...

A Quick Thought on Ecclesiastes 1

A Quick Thought on Ecclesiastes 1

A Mist and a Chase: Thoughts on Ecclesiastes 1 I started reading Ecclesiastes this morning with highlighters in hand, a fresh cup of coffee, and the Holy Spirit whispering, “Buckle up.” And wow—within a few verses, I felt like Solomon had punched me in the soul. He...

A Quick Thought on Leviticus 10

A Quick Thought on Leviticus 10

So, I set a goal this year: read the entire Old Testament—not just skim it—but really sit in it. Line by line. Chapter by chapter. I even bought a new ESV Bible, pulled out my highlighters, grabbed my journal, and yes… opened up Google a lot.  This morning I found...

The Tragic Cost of Disobedience

The Tragic Cost of Disobedience

Before Saul ever failed publicly, he compromised privately. Israel’s first king was chosen not because he was perfect, but because the people wanted a leader they could see—someone who looked the part. And Saul? He had the look. The stature. The charisma. But what he...

The Online Journal

The Online Journal

The Blog Is Back. Not because I just turned 44 (although, hey—hallelujah for that). Not because I needed one more thing on my plate. But because sometimes, to move forward, you have to go back. Back to what you know. Back to what you love. Back to what you were made...
